Drummer & Managing Coordinator
Chris Keniley has studied, performed and taught West African drumming for 15 years with drum masters Issa Coulibaly, Joh Camara, Sory Diabate of Mali and Mohamed Kalifa Kamara of Guinea. He plays for numerous events throughout New England and performs widely with Ammaya Dance & Drum. Partnering with his wife Tara Murphy, Chris has helped support and develop Ammaya Dance & Drum since its inception in 2004. Chris also accompanies kirtan performances and loves to play at drum jams at various festivals throughout New England.
